A Village Where History Lives The Village you are about to visit portrays the life of New Brunswick Acadians from the end of the deportations up to the mid 20th century. You will see dwellings dating from as far back as 1770, which represents the four corners of the province and brought back to life, thanks to the presence of interpreters who carry on the daily tasks of yore. They will tell you the story etched in their memory, the memory of a tenacious people, who never lost their faith in the future.
