Children of the Village 2012

Day Summer camp 2012
Monday to Friday, from June 25 to August 17, 2012

The Village Historique Acadien offers children between 7 and 12 years of age the opportunity to spend a day on the historical site and experience how people lived back then. Dressed in traditional costume, they will enjoy Acadian cooking and have the chance to learn some crafts and traditions like to card, spin, and weave wool, make shingles and do carpentry work with antique tools, print texts as in the old days, and go on nature walks, all fully supervised by two staff members. In short, the Village Historique Acadien will take you back in time for a day filled with activities.
