Description :

On of the most remarkably authentic historical site in North America (Phoenix Award Winner), the Village Historique Acadien strives to portray the lives of Acadians between 1770 and 1939. More than 40 buildings are staffed with interpreters in period costumes who bring ancestral customs and traditional trades back to life. Each of them has a story to tell! Allow a minimum of 3 hours to visit the entire site.

NEW IN 2010: Experience life in the early 20th century with new buildings such as the Hôtel Château Albert, the Irving service station, the railway station and caboose, a general store, the Goguen Wood circular sawmill, and a Caisse Populaire in construction live.
